Tom Cruise vs. Tom Cruise in MTV promo

Tom Cruise has every reason to be self-deprecating these days, and he's taking to his non-couch-jumping goofball status rather nicely. Could it be that he has a big summer movie to promote? You don't have to be a cynic to know the answer to that one. He appeared in a video with Knight and Day co-star Cameron Diaz recently where she kicked him into a craft services table during some stunt rehearsals. The clip went viral (showed up on Oprah) and racked up some 50 million views. (The action comedy launches June 25.) The newest Cruise vignette is the ad above for the upcoming MTV Movie Awards, airing live June 6. Cruise, in his obnoxious producer persona from Tropic Thunder, gives 1983's Risky Business a pantsing, thus creating one of the most iconic film scenes in recent memory. It all makes sense in the clip, kinda.
