Spike to give Corey Haim the right kind of tribute with 'The Lost Boys' airing

Posted on Fri Mar 12 2010

Please, no marathon of The Two Coreys. Over the past few days, there have been a series of sad revelations about Corey Haim's long-time battle with drugs and the circumstances of his sudden death this week at age 38. Salt in the wound, at least to his fans, would be the resurrection of the painful A&E reality show he starred in with his pal from the '80s, Corey Feldman. Not saying it won't happen -- it ran for two seasons and centered on a kind of You, Me & Dupree premise of train wreck Haim living with grown up, responsible Feldman and his wife -- but let's just hope it doesn't. Instead, I'd prefer to remember Haim in his teen heartthrob heyday of The Lost Boys, which the Spike cable channel is airing this Saturday at midnight as a tribute to the late actor. So check him out in all his Flock-of-Seagulls-hairdo, vampire-fighting glory and wish him a final, peaceful rest.
